Will the Edlebrock Performer RPM fit under the stock hood or would you have to modify something so it fits?

It will with a drop base 14x3 air filter.

2 more question for today lol is the Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam to big to use with 8 heads and would i have to use a torque converter?

I really think you should buy Bill Trovato's book.... It answers almost all of these questions.... Not to mention if you look at other peoples builds and use that little search bar in the upper right corner of the page, you can find the answers to your questions. Your questions are not new ones that no one has ever asked before.

As for a converter, you need to talk to the cam manufacturer and see what they recommend. Something like my cam 230/230 @ .050 .490/.490 lift) is a dog without a higher stall.

Both are too big. Find out what pistons you have, when you pull the heads.

I have dish pistons but i'm going with forged aluminum ones.

You can't pick out a cam until you know exactly what your real CR measures out to be. There's about a bajillion people out there with really slow cars who did not follow that advice.

What kind of forged aluminum ones? Dish/flat/dome? Forged aluminum is just the material they are made of.
