Yes you can use the serpentine set up you just need a reverse flow water pump,you can use your same radiator.I need to know the year to tell if its a vortec motor. ...my opinion just keep it v6 turbo....I have the same exact swap so ask all the questions you need

Also yes your mechanical fuel pump will work you just have to transfer the fuel pump shaft.once you figured out what kind of motor and heads get the intake to match your heads then a hei distributor and that's it

a true vortec headed engine which is 96 to 2000 will have 8 intake bolt 2 in each corner and nun in the middle instead of 12 like conventional heads have.

I don't know for sure wether the Vortec serp set up will work but the one from your 95 is different than what the real Vortecs use. Just like the fuel pump, the op is gonna have to check to see if the block is drilled and wether the cam has a lobe on it or not.

it is a vortec motor the intake had 8 bolts, can i just put a regulator on my electric pump fuel pump?

i unbolted the oil cooler lines but wont oil come out if i just leave it?
