im gonna go to the junkyard on monday look for an 88-95 truck serp set up or an f body

will i be able to use the power steering pump off the new set up to power my breaks like the car has now?

Yes you can use the serp setup, if the engine was running well and not overheating the water pump can be reused too. The motor mounts should just swap over from the truck too. Might as well buy a new distributor so you don't have to worry if you get a good used one. Check to see if the truck radiator will drop into the regal, I used an old v6 one and it didn't cool as well. You can always order a radiator for a v8 monte if you need a bigger one that will drop right in.

well 20 bucks for some new motor mounts so im gonna just go that route to not worry about it and i have a f body radiator in the car already so i should be good on that

a guy on craigslist wants 150 for a vortec intake and its 250 on summit but how do you know if an intake is an ok condition to use

The main thing to check is bolt holes make sure they are not stripped.also make sure the heater hose plugs are not Coroded on Matthew sure they come off freely

plus i only drove the car with that intake for about 2 months so its practically new
