You have to slot one hole enough so that you can feed it in and flip it into the opposite hole which would need to opened only a little for it to drop down. if that makes sense.

What is the composition of these AC Delco bushings? Urethane, plastic, etc?
You also mentioned awhile back about using a 1/4" spacer under the brackets to keep the bushings from crushing too much. I'm also using a 36mm hollow bar from a GTA.
I have since cut a few small 1/4" spacers and placed them under the brackets. It does seem to keep the bushings from deforming.

I think I will end up ordering the same ones that you just got. I like the fact that they're greasable.
