my dimmer switch was acting up for a while and i didn't have highbeams. then i didn't have headlights at all. Decided to upgrade while i was fixing, so i did the flash to pass conversion. real easy, just added a wire and bought the dimmer switch for a '95 fleetwood. i really like it, and reccomend it!

took the jeep for inspection last weekend, failed me for upper balljoints, but i do have an emissions sticker lol. just got done with the balljoints a few days ago, and the dimmer switch is broken on the jeep too. ill get that fixed and i'll be in business for the winter. just gotta find a place to put the cutlass, its not sitting outside buried in a snowdrift again...

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Need info on the flash to pass conversion

only thing i did different was i didnt have to loosen the column mount bolts on the firewall, i was able to do everything by just removing the bracket and 2 bolts where it mounts under the dash. And i went to the junkyard to get the connectors for either side of the additional wire.

Inspection fail? Im so glad that there isnt any inspection here in MN. Doesnt help than neither my olds or Jeep would pass. Ive already taken the olds off the road. Now its 10degrees and got 6" of snow. Winter is here! :?

wow! we've just got a sprinkle here and there so far, nothing has stuck. drove the cutlass for the last time (hopefully) today. i'm getting my dimmer switch for the jeep tomorrow and taking it back to inspection. the switch in my olds went one day, the jeep the next lol. just my luck.

well heres a little update, i finally got cell pics of the jeep. lol bought it for 400, and i put another 400 in it. i don't think that was really a bad deal. i put new rockers on it, new leaf springs and wire wheeled the rust off and bedlined it. the reason i went up so high with the bedliner is because there was rust all around the handles which i thought was wierd. oh well, i feel like i need to listen to country music all the time now lol. once my buddy is finished putting the plow on his wagoneer and stock springs on his jetta my cutlass has a spot in his garage wooooo!!!

i think im gonna order a pair of R7M Specialties spark plug wire looms with leftover christmas money.

differential should be done this weekend, ill gather parts next week and then the swap!!

Damn these pics are huge, i guess im gonna use the clickable ones next time.

If those tires are dried out, and they look like it in the pics, I wouldn't do anything other than let the car sit on them.

I know it's tempting to want to boil them off, but the likelyhood of a dried out tire like that coming apart is pretty good, and I sure wouldn't want to risk the damage to my 1/4's...

good point i guess i never really thought of that. i'll probably just find a cheap pair of descent tires on CL then.

I was bored today and i had an idea for throttle return spring bracket. i didn't think we had thick enough gauge metal at the house but i found a blank receptacle cover that will probably do the trick.
