Sold the 4 speed for $280 today. Hell of a profit from $80 and a can of high temp paint lol.

I also have some money from fixing my buddies '79 wagoneer and doing details this spring. Still have more play money coming in from flipping parts. Tires are already in the Summit shopping cart, i'll also have enough to get the gears in the posi setup and hopefully enough for a shiftkit.

I'm pumped for next spring!!!!

Yeah ill see how i like it with the new stance and the gears. I think that will make me want to keep it yeah 8)

BUT if i get tired of it i might be tempted to see if Nate wants to trade his GN. i'm guessing hell wanna keep it though.

I was looking forward to cruising around this past summer until "the happening"

i should uncork my cutlass and run open headers to scare one of the neighbors out, then you can move in haha

The happening? lol

Yeah, you would not want Nates GN. It has electrical issues. Those things are a money pit in the worst way. Worse than the Cutlass you have or even my Cutlass, and let me tell you, that thing is a money pit. haha

I hear ya......Only thing is the older we get, the slower WINTER seems to pass 🙁

Thats true. Fortunately i'll have it in a garage where i can go work on it whenever i want, so that will help 8)

Yeah i think i would still take nates and just re-harness the thing , it would be worth it

Had a guy talk stop me at the gas station today. He was driving a new R/T Hemi Challenger. He seemed pretty interested in my car, and was talking about his dads tube chassis gbody cutlass that runs 8's in the 1/4. I gave him quite a bit of info on it and he said if hes gonna buy it, it would be before winter. Maybe I'll be getting a TR sooner than expected 8)

Oh yeah and i picked up 2 350 DX Blocks for $12 (what i paid for a 650 holley from my neighbor) just traded my buddy for the blocks.

I'm not sure if i'm gonna build a stroker out of one or not because i would have to build up the rest of the car to handle the power.... decisions decisions.

Just got back from picking up a performer RPM and a set of oldsmobile block lettered valve covers for $100. another Craigslist find

Also last week i picked up a set of leaf springs for the jeep. Craigslist is now my best friend  i guess i never noticed the rear pass. side was broken where it looped around the shackle. had my mechanic replace them. he said it will be done monday.

I've lucked out weather wise so far. no snow at all really.

my dimmer switch was acting up for a while and i didn't have highbeams. then i didn't have headlights at all. Decided to upgrade while i was fixing, so i did the flash to pass conversion. real easy, just added a wire and bought the dimmer switch for a '95 fleetwood. i really like it, and reccomend it!

took the jeep for inspection last weekend, failed me for upper balljoints, but i do have an emissions sticker lol. just got done with the balljoints a few days ago, and the dimmer switch is broken on the jeep too. ill get that fixed and i'll be in business for the winter. just gotta find a place to put the cutlass, its not sitting outside buried in a snowdrift again...

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!!
