Haha okay cool, I'll check it out. Thanks

So judging by what the guys on oldspower say i ordered the wrong size tire for the front. not really wrong, but will look bad. i have 255/60 which is 27.1" diameter. the 225/70 is a 26.5" diameter. rumor has it there will be "too much" sidewall on the front compared to the back. looking back i dont know what i was thinking, .6" isnt as much difference as i was looking for. BFG discontinued the 215/60 so i guess i will go 225/60/14 which is 24.7" diameter. front will have 5.35" sidewall, rear will have 6.05" technically. not that you guys really care, it just helps to get this down somewhere lol

this dude has 275/60/15 and 235/60/14. 2" difference. looks schweet. i will have 2.4" difference.

Ya you got to watch that. I was having a hard time remembering all the specs when I was trying to figure what tires i wanted on the staggered 17's and 18's.

Find two more 15" ralleys? :? Probably easier said than done.

I looked on car-part.com and theres a set of 2 15" ralleys for $110 in Milesburg PA. I look on there for a ton of stuff.

I overlooked the backspacing on the rear wheels. not really a problem, i'll just have to run a 1/4" spacer, so i'll have a 4" b.s. like a ssIII G-body rally wheel. Also found a site that still sells the discontinued 215/60/14's. and they are on the way as I write this.

Got some work done. 8)

Steering wheel looks sweet (no pun intended) you gotta find buckets and a console for that ride...
I gonna dye the one I have, well just the bucket, claret and cut it out for Lightning Rods for my
85 442.

thanks 88H/O

took it for a drive today with less than stellar results. :blam: went up the road fine on the way back i gunned it and then got a humming sort of noise. coasted back to the house no problem. got the rear up in the air and in neutral. spin the tires and i get a squeaking kind of noise from the rear of the trans. greased my u-joints, no dice. diff makes noises when i spin the tires faster. on the install i noticed the axles werent spinning "on center" had a wobble to them. so i'm thinking the noise is my drums rubbing on the backing plates. but why the noise only after i went up the road not before?

nothing ever freakin' works out. I just hope i dont need a new trans.

could be. its got a new pinion bearing, the guy told me the others were fine. if i didnt fix it its going back to them...

I took the drums off and hit down some high spots on the backing plates. seemed to help. no more noise when turning by hand but i still have to take it for a drive. little low on trans fluid so i topped it off. roads are wet now so ill have to wait to drive it.

Got my 1/4" spacers and a cover for my optima. Tires fit good with the spacers, just painted them black.
