Thanks to my buddy Craig for the carb. Looks great runs even better. He rebuilt it and put a high flow needle and seat in it. My throttle return spring idea took on a life of its own over on oldspower. A guy named Larry wrote a program and made a bunch of these using his cnc machine. 8) Pretty damn cool. the power of the internet.

Got some parts from summit today. Put my mallory ign. module in. still waiting on my cap coil and rotor. plan is to get that done this weekend and get rid of the miss.

Theres a big show this friday where they close down the main street downtown. if it ever stops raining i'm gonna clean the crap out of it and throw some wax on it.

Yeah its a real hefty piece! Way better than my first prototype haha

Got the olds all cleaned up today for the first time this spring, really. The first big show in town is tomorrow. I talked to the detail guy as i was leaving work today about wetsanding and buffing my car. we pulled it in and tried a little spot, all i can say is what a huge difference!! Gotta take a weekend and do the whole car now! :wax: Cant wait to see my baby really shine 8)

Got my new cap, coil, rotor and module done now. The miss is better but not 100% yet. Still have to put my 8mm MSD wires on and new plugs, hopefully that fixes it. Should look a lot better too with the wire looms.

Picked up a set of boxed LCA's with poly bushings ill throw in sometime soon. Damn, it should be a great summer!

Cant really tell the difference but heres a before and after:

I think I paid about $50 or $60 for a NOS pair on eBay a couple years ago...

Just be sure you get the right ones... There's quite a few different tanks.

Engine bay looks good. Black & gold is a good contrast & the lettering on the valvecover is cool. Headers need redone.

I'll have my uncle powder coat them with some high temp black this upcoming winter, the headers and the tanks are the 2 things that bother me.

Blake, i saw gbodyparts has them fairly cheap in the cutlass style as well.

Man, the car looks awesome! But please get the correct steel fuel line from the pump to the carb. I would hate to see that rubber line fail and ruin all your hard work.

Thanks. Fuel line is definitely on the list of things to do. I have a steel line crossing over along the front of the engine crossmember (if you will), only about a little chunk from that to the pump and a little chunk to the carb. but i still need to run it correctly all the way on the pass. side rail. and braided from pump to carb.

Had a good time at the show last night. Went with a couple buddies and checked everything out. Nothing new really... On the way home we caught a g-body regal at a light, gold with chrome 20 something iroc replicas. He nailed it first, then me, but i still pulled on him hard and got ahead  Guessing he had a chevy 350
