appreciate it man! lotta time into this car although it doesnt always look like it to me

Got tired of looking at my modified GP fender to core bars so decided to make a new set, just happened to have the supplies hiding under the work bench. I might consider making a bunch of these if there is a lot of interest.

Painted my intake and water-neck, ground all the casting numbers off it, just something i did in the middle of the long winter  Not a fan of the aluminum intake and gold block really so i'm going gold. got new edelbrock bolts and gaskets for it. should be on sometime soon. Also just got all my plugs in today.

Making some changes to make the top of the core support look cleaner. Found a way to route the hood latch cable through the support itself. also going to relocate the grounds Probably end up doing some filling, sanding and shooting some new black on top.

Posting some more progress!!

Got My performer RPM on last weekend. Went pretty good except the bolt kit edelbrock sells for the intake didnt even work. so i have a bunch of mismatched bolts on it right now and it looks like shitass... oh well.

Still have to mess with the carb and timing, and it starts really hard for some reason now, had to use starting fluid this morning. So now i'm on the lookout for an electric choke for a q-jet.

My R&M spark plug wire looms still havent came in from summit yet. This is the longest i have waited for a part from them. they just bumped the shipped date from the 20th to the 30th  so close.

Progress is nice! That olds does look right at home there. Looks stockish to the passerby but still clean.

looks good .../.went to the scrap yard yesterday and i couldnt find a olds with no ac i wanted that alt bracket to place my alt on the right hand side ... ive had bad luck with the regular 3 groove water pump pulleys ...all of the ones ive gotten have been really warn and cause belt slippage

Thanks guys!

My buddy has a real nice setup for powdercoating, but i dont think my headers will fit in his oven. We had to take a BFH to it to fit his 18's for his vw. He got the oven from some crackhead for like $20 lol.

Cleaned it up real good yesterday and went out for a few quick pictures. of course its raining for the next week straight

Thanks Blake! Yeah i always get sh*t from the tuner kid that i work with for my "dull *ss" paint haha. Gonna ask the dude who details and buffs at the shop if he can give me a quick lesson sometime.

Pontiacgp- i think they sell high temp powder, the problem is you have to bake it at a really high temp, which our crackhead oven probably wont reach. My uncle works in the powdercoating business, i might have to have him do them sometime.

Awesome weather today! its 67* here. time for a cruise!
