I have the Champion CC-162 keeping all iron big block Chevy engines cool in multiple G-body applications. I also use Dodge Intrepid electric fans.

With the new motor(403 Olds, .60 over, 455 "J" heads) last year, I've been running a stock F-Body aluminium rad with plastic tanks...bolted right in. So far so good.

I have an aluminum Champion 4-core radiator in my GP. So far it has done a fine job keeping the 454 cool. (I am running a junkyard Taurus fan with it.)

If the rad was cooling the engine for a few years I'd check the system and flush it before I spend money on a new rad. It could be a simple as the thermostat isn't opening fully or the cooling fan has a problem

Its never really cooled the car that well. When it colder outside its fine but during the summer it kinda sucks.

The quality of the Champion seems pretty good, the polished finish is not show quality but looks decent enough until I put the new engine in.
I wanted something that fit without issues, was made completely out of aluminum and had a built in trans cooler and the Champion did that.

Ya thats kinda where im at im trying to find something I can hopefully just drop in. If i have to make some hold downs im good with that.

Forgot to mention i do have two mr gasket fans in it I think they are 12 inches and edelbrock heads.

My Grand Prix was originally a 231 V6. I lucked out and came across a V8 Cutlass upper fan plate in a local wrecking yard, so I used that to install my 4-core Champion. However, the grooves in its stock rubber isolators (and the two bottom rubber isolators that came on my car) were not wide enough to fit over my fat new radiator. I spent a while in the garage with an exacto knife, snips and a pair of heavy duty scissors carving out all four pieces until they would accommodate the new radiator. After that, it dropped right into place as if it were OEM.
