I had a 4L80E in my SS at one point, why I have given the advice I have.

I bought this thing as a shell. So no idea where anything went connected. I’m about to drop the swap in this weekend. Not sure where this goes on the transmission or if it’s needed.

Passenger side pan bolts. When you hook it up to shift lever it will become obvious where it goes.

What shifter are you using?

No idea yet. It’s a built 4l80e manual shift. Would like to keep like the stock style instead of reverse

I was wrong as @Built6spdMCSSemtuimed, I was having a dyslexic moment. They mount in the driver side.

If you end up using an aftermarket floor mount shifter, then using the cable and mounting bracket that comes with it is not difficult to install.
