Also, will any Pontiac intake work? 350, 400 455? Or, are they different like the olds small block and big block?

The rusted out plug, is it an expansion plug, or something else?
They used Olds engine mounts that they elongated the hole for motor mounts

YUCK! That was in a car or a swamp? Gonna need some TLC for sure. That flexplate is a small register type that appears to have been "persuaded" onto a large register crank. Probably with a BFH and a chisel. Who did this swap, Fred Flintstone?
