I need to check my 87 SS rear diff to see if it has 26 or 28 spline axles. :? I was planning on rebuilding it using a 02 SS Zexel torsen LSD with 28 spline axles out of a GN, a rebuild kit and a Summit racing Girdle, & Ratech solid crush sleeve. I was going to weld the axle tubes to the centersection as well to make it a strong as possible.. I have blown 3 7.5 rears in the past so i am not depending on them... hopefully the 8.5 rear's i got will do the job...
