Did you degree the cam? That looks like the Cloyes Billet 9 timing set, putting the same on the 358.

Ok I ran into an issue and it's an old issue so I went back over my thread and I've come to the conclusion that these have to be the wrong pushrods for this motor. If you look way back in the thread I had this problem with it before I think these pushrods came with the 350 when I got it. When tightening rockers valves closed I should be able to get "0" lash then when I tighten the rocker bolt I should get like a half turn and all should be fine. That's not what I have I can tighten down the rockers all the way and can't get to "0" lash my theory is the push rods are too short and that's why it wiped out the first cam. I'm waiting for the Machinist to get in at B&B because he has bulk pushrods in stock that my boss gave him and we are going to figure this out. In the meantime I put as much as I could together and set the valve covers and intake on the motor to keep the dirt and my lunch out of it

I absolutely hate waiting but at the moment it's all I can do.

Ok got new pushrods from the Machinist same sh*t tried one of the#7 heads same sh*t. I don't think I can make the deadline at this point and I'm about to give up. I don't know what to do and I'm tired like this project. I give up
