I don't want to muddy up the OP's thread, but the engine is ready to drop in, the trans will then go on the stand and get a HD2 shift kit installed as long as the guts look fine. I move slower than most due to finances not coming in as fast as I'd like. Realistically I'd like to have it running on boost by end of year, but turbo(s) and associated costs are pricey.
