I would throw some raised white letter BF Goodrich tires on some chrome wheels ,tint the windows get a good sounding exhaust and call it a day,
Enjoy the car .

Thanks man! TBH I'm digging the stock Rally II wheels, but have my eye on some aftermarket rims that I think would be an automatic upgrade. The Rally II's need to be redone. BFG'S, tint and duals are on the schedule already.

Next question, if you all were building...crate motor or find a used block? Is the crate motor really worth the extra money?
No, a bare block, built to your specs (go hydraulic roller cam), with your desired octane, tailored to your needs will be way better than anything you can get off the shelf/internet.
The car looks good, man. Do it right.

Just keep everything you take off...don't sell any if it

Some 15 or 16" ralley 2's with some nice tires. BF Goodrich has discontinued the radial t/a. I went to the BF Goodrich dealer near me looking for some and they couldn't get the size I wanted and told me good luck finding them as that tire is discontinued. As far as the rest of the car give it a nice stance and fix all the small items as needed, just make sure the brakes, suspension and steering is all good. As far as the engine goes I'm a Pontiac purist so I'd go with a Pontiac engine with a fuel injection set up. I don't like seeing old cars with the LS motor plus it seems just about everyone is doing that now.
