79 Cutlass Calais Build

A lot of places are trying to prevent what they call "eyesores" and people who have multiple non-driving cars sitting in their driveways for extended periods of time. I.E. "Projects" or junk cars that really are eyesores. There are places (I think our liberal craptastic state of Massachusetts) has implemented a law in certain communities banning unregistered cars from being in plain sight/ it is an attempt by uppity neighbors to keep their property values higher by removing unsightly things from the neighborhood. Problem is, who judges which cars are truly eyesores and not being repaired versus a long term project? anyway sorry about my rant... My brother lived in a condo complex and he wasnt allowed to even change his oil in his driveway because they said the runoff went into a local pond. So he did his oil changes in his garage

I like seeing your progress! Definitely does not look like a bidget build, but then everyone has a 'budget'- just how big it is is no-ones business 🙂

I know how you feel, I am from Alabama now living in Maryland and I miss being able to do whatever I want to do in my yard. I live in one of those type of neighborhoods and I have neighbors that will call the city someone that has an untagged car in their yard. My car is kind of a budget build, because I purchased parts 1-2 years before I started working on the car. Also I am glad that Brain at Gbodyparts is giving me a good deal on the work he is doing. I had to do a lot of side work (home remodeling) to get my car to where it is now, other than that I would not be able to afford this. Also I see you r car is coming alone too.

They are work on my body now to fix all the rust and bad spot. I can't find before pictures or the passenger side, but there is an after. Looks like they are doing a good job.
