79 Elky SS 4 speed

Just picked up a 79 Elky SS 4 speed, posi, 350 car. Black with tan interior, has iroc rims and the center caps read SPECIAL EDITION or something. and it has the ground effects and says iroc on it. Is it worth anything? I paid 200 dollars for it, it doesnt run, it needs a floor pan patch other then that its nice.

it's only worth what someone will pay for it. a car worth well over $100k (by todays prices) at the barret jacksononly sold for something like $40k because someone forgot to charge the battery. since it wouldn't start, no one bid on it. having said that, a 79 elky with a posi and 350ci is definately worth the 200 you paid. i paid a grand for my monte with no engine.
what's the story on the engine? does it crank over?

supposedly the kid put the wrong antifreeze in and something happend if I stick my finger in where the intake neck is theres a green gel all in the block. IDK. I have another 350 ready. Its not my car really its my friends I own a 83 Monte.

But im just helping him on it and it stays here, Ill have some pics this weektho
