Right on. I've not dealt with Skip White but have read many reviews, with quite a few on other forums being at least slightly negative. I'm guessing he can't be all bad and that some complaints were merely because he sells/uses "white box" items. What's your experience been?

In the name of transparency if the guy that built your engine doesn't approve of the rockers you're going with did he offer up a suggestion?

Oh yes they had some suggestions, they sell some white box stuff from suppliers like Comp cams, AFR, ARP, aluminum rockers that are too fat to fit under my valve covers lol. And I have a hard time looking over $500 for any of comps steel rockers.

Has anybody used these PCE ultra black chromoly rockers from speedmaster. Any horror stories of needles falling out, locking up, any other major failures?

Different perspective here.... If the 'engine builder' says 'Don't Use Brand X' parts, I would not use Brand-X parts.
Should there be any sort of failure or issue, using parts they told you not to use seems like an easier out for them (those parts caused the issue so you're on your own).

Oh I understand totally, they don't recommend anything they don't sell... Liability issues Make them only recommend what they sell. That's normal for almost every company on the planet. That doesn't mean the parts they don't recommend aren't any good. I've been building Engines longer than most people have been alive.

SpeedMaster has a pretty good reputation. PCE makes the rockers I ordered, they also have a decent reputation. I'm asking a pointed question, has anybody used these rockers and what is their experience, That's my question.
