Thanks for that info! I don't want to sidetrack your build posts, but one last question on the Anti-Hop bars because I have not come across this for a G-Body. Did you have to modify the 3rd member housing? My original GM rear end and the new FAB9 are quite different from what you have -- the wide UCA rear "jaws" slide over a bushing mounted onto the rear end casing (see pictures). I would suspect that you had to cut that off and weld a different bracket...

The fabbed rear may already have an improved angle built into it. The upper mount bushings look higher. You won't be able to use the no-hops on a 9". On the 10 and 12 bolts rears, the no-hop bars attach in place of that upper control arm bushing. You also have to drill a hole in the webbing on each side of the front of the housing and attach with a bolt. You can probably see it better in this picture if you can zoom in.

Great -- now I get it, there is a slight difference in height. Thanks!

Well, almost another year and not much to show for it. I did get the fenders, doors and trunk lid prepped for paint. They’re in epoxy primer for now.

don't feel too bad td, I bought the Chief 2 1/2 years ago, to drive and get me motivated on the regal project... since then it's taken all my spare time/energy, and the only thing I've done to the regal is get it moved from the house to the shop I'm renting a space at...
