It is time for an upgrade for sure! Looking at maybe a TE-44 or 60. The trans needs to be redone, so I'll upgrade the convertor then.

Stage 2? I've though about it. Leaning towards a stroked 4.1 liter block. Give me about 274 cubes. That's in the future, gonna rock the stock block I have now for a while till I get the rest of the drivetrain squared away, i.e. trans and new rear diff to replace the lunchbox locker.

Well, I got side tracked. I finished up the rear headliner. After repairing the board, sanding it, and glueing on the new material, I installed it. I also had to get the cargo light wired so it turns on when the doors open, and by the switch. The rear interior panels aren't installed yet.

I finished the cargo floor spare tire door. I don't remember how the prop rod goes though, I also need to get a Jack, not the bumper jack, the frame jack.

Then I jumped under the hood. I am making a bracket to hold the nitrous, fuel, and purge solenoids to the up pipe, right by the throttle body. This will keep the lines nice and short to the fogger nozzle. I brought the stuff into work to TIG up, since I am out of argon at home.

Got the up pipe modified with the solenoid bracket, fogger nozzle doubler that has been drilled and tapped, and the alky nozzle (m15). I still need to mount the bottle, and figure out where to run the purge outlet line.

Engine bay is a hit dirty, and I still have to touch a few brackets up, so please excuse.

Jim, it doesn't matter if the bay is "dirty", the cool factor of having a turbo 6 in the wagon outweighs all IMO!!!!

I'm sure that messes people up if/when you pop the hood to show off that engine in a wagon. Nicely done sir.

X2 !!! Lookin sweet my friend. I still get excited when you show full car pics. That grey looks sick on that wagon.

My wife's uncle (RIP) ran a 72 Chevelle wagon w/ a Pontiac 455 back in the day. He named it "Tantrum". He had pics of it launching with front wheels up and twisted enough to see the exhaust underneath.

I can't wait to see your longroof dialed in and launching off the line.

I appreciate guys. The work will be slow to none over the winter as I work to build a new house and garage. I'll keep doing the little odd and ends. But, I have a line on different wheels and a TA-49 turbo.
