As far as the hinges I have no idea. They might be in the trunk of this car or the 82 that I havnt seen. I wouldnt mind trading you the hood. Still have those manual trans pedals and stuff?

Ok. Im not sure whats in the interior or not. Ill have to get the interior stuff back and kinda lay it out to see if im missing anything. I know I got all the big stuff but I have no idea about the little stuff.

Drug the 2 cutli home last sunday. Was going to get pictures Monday night but was nasty sick. Pulled the interior out of the Salon today and took all the stuff out of the trunk of the 2 cars.

The 84 supreme is a rustbucket. Rear frame is gone, floors gone, drivers side door is gone, ect. Has a nice blue dash and some other inside stuff and a nice passenger side door and fenders and front clip. Looks like the thing had taken a decent size jump considering the shape of the new exhaust.

85 Salon had a nice grey interior. No doors, fenders, or front clip. Power seat and windows. Mostly rust free. Bad- 2.14 rear ratio needs the new rockers welded in, its tore into a million parts, and has a few other rust spots. Sigh.... Should make a good home for the 455 in a year or so. Possible drag car????

Spent Saturday cleaning interior parts. Seats are nice with the exeption of a non movable power seat track. Fiberglassed the corners back on the headliner along with all the other little cracks. Ordered headliner material too so I should finally have a headliner.

Ohh I forgot!

Yesterday I ripped the (I think) fast ratio steering box out of the 84 parts car. It is a four bolt cover so I am assuming that it is a fast ratio. Almost 3 turns lock to lock. Whatever it is it is better than the leaky loose pig of a box I got now.

And my other delema. To put in power windows and locks or not. The door panels out the the salon are for power stuff but I dont have a problem rolling up windows but I do have all the stuff for power. The fact that power motors go out scares me a bit too.

I would at least go with power windows. It can be a pain having to reach over to the other side of the car to roll the windows up or down, especially if you have bucket seats or console. Also, how often do you think the motors go bad? The ones in my Cutlass were original and they still were working fine. The only bad thing about them is they just suck, you can roll the windows up faster by hand  If you are interested, there is a writeup on Oldspower that explains how to rebuild the window motor to get a little more speed out of them.

Power locks are much easier to do without.

Accomplished a bunch during christmas vacation. Had the week off so I got to work. Put in all the Salon seats, headliner, trim, all the pillar trim and the rear panels. Looks way better than that old green faded junk that was in there. The car needs carpet but its $160 for the cheep stuff or $250 for the expensive stuff. My carpet is ugly spraypainted stuff. Goes back to some redneck owning this car, dropping a 455 in infront of the stock trans on V6 mounts, drilling holes into the dash to mount guages and spray painting the carpet to change the color. The dash is out of the Salon too. Hope that goes in this spring when the snow is gone. Only other obstacle is the console. Top is nice but the plastic shrowd on the bottom is broke into 4 parts.

This is why the blue 84 is getting parted out.

Looks kinda sad in this shape.
