Signed up to see if I could get some help. Like the subject says I have an 81 malibu with a 267, small v8. I'm wondering since it was given to me from a friend, if a olds 350 rocket with transmission already bolted on fit into my car?

welcome..and yes it will but keep it chevy lol.. i had a 79 malibu 2 door and a 79 el camino with the 267.. and a 81 monte

lol! That's my set up :lol: . You'll have to make some minor changes, but yes they work quite well in four door malibus . Frame mount need to be changed, get the correct shroud, top plate, fan, and bracketry with pulleys. You'll need to shorten a harness a bit, or get one from a donor 78 or 79 cutlass Olds V8 equipped (plug and play no mods 8) ). Straight forward swap, as long as you are removing the computer too?
