well during the winter I slid into a pole and messed up my passenger side fender on my 85 El Camino and now im looking for a new one. I found an 81 monte carlo fender on craigslist and im wondering if it will fit. ive been told G body parts are interchangeable but this looks different then mine. any info would be awesome! thanks.

No a Monte fender alone will not fit. Now you could put the whole front clip on and make it work. Otherwise only Malibu and El Camino will interchange.
You're not going to be able to use the Monte fender on the El Camino. It will have to be from either a Malibu or Elky.
You'll need an '82 up Malibu/ El Camino fender with the side marker lights ....or you could use an earlier '78-'81 fender, but you would have to weld up the side marker hole in the existing '85 fender.
