'83 Cutlass Cruiser Build Thread

Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

Blake,
I'm diggin' the wood grain effect. I may be inspired to do the same thing. 😉
It sounds like it's pretty easy to apply, especially that it goes on dry...no adhesive backing.
You'll have to let us know how it fits into the creases and contours, etc.

I've been sitting back waiting to see how the wood grain effect would look, and I must say it's gonna look cool!!! As I've aged I have gained respect for a wagon with grain, but some wagons just can't pull it off...yours definitely can.

Only thing Blake, I just picture a huge a$$ pine tree strapped to the roof, a metal trash can lid in the back, and cousin Eddie emptying into a sewer lol! I know, different car, just having movie flashbacks.
All jokes aside, car is looking awesome can't wait to see it done!

Busy Busy Busy!!! The past two months has been hectic!
Wrapping up as many loose ends as I can before the car comes home.
I'll sit down and get the thread up to speed soon...
Until then, here's another teaser for you...

Wow! It looks killer! The paint, the woodgrain, the trim around the woodgrain, having it back on the aluminum slots. Killer! I've been jonesing for an update so I'm loving the teaser.

I agree with Jared......it's lookin' killer. What did you end up using to trim the perimeter of the woodgrain? Gotta love the vintage slotted wheels.
I can't wait to see more pics of it.
