what does his reman olds 350, and blown up 307 have to do with a chevy 307?307 Chevy......never heard of it?
Not sure where the sbc 307 came from. The intake will work but will severely limit top end. I used the SP2P(tiny triangle ports)intake on an Olds 350. Part throttle was amazing but the Qjet overwhelmed it at full throttle. It would do nothing for a few seconds then catch up slowly. What is the big casting number on the shelf by the oil fill tube? With the #8 head and 24cc pistons, the only affordable cast pistons available will give 7 to 1 compression, 8 to 1 with a 7 head, maybe less for both, they sit way in the hole. Another early head would be a good idea. Most get 68 to 70cc for 7/6A heads stock. I have measured 77 to 78cc for the #8 heads. Honestly the #8 would need a .040" mill and a bowl hog under the exhaust valve to equal the 7 head. Edited after rereading it.what does his reman olds 350, and blown up 307 have to do with a chevy 307?
