Starting my build on my 84 nash. Running the holley mounts and oil pan combo with a lq4 and 4l80e. I'm looking to have boost and keep the ac and heat. I've done some research and it seems most builds delete the ac and couldn't find info on off the shelf turbo manifold options that allow ac. I borrowed a trick Performance t4 log for nbs trucks for some test fitting. Just had a chance to test fit the motor in today. Love the looks of a bug single turbo setup.

Seems to fit well and the waste gate location seems like it will work out with some cutting of the inner fender well. Also trick make them with v band waste gates as well as the 2 bolt style. I'm thinking the v band will be better as it give you more angle adjustments.

. As for hood clearance it's going to be close. I'll test fit that this weekend. Also I found out that a 2nd gen ctsv driver's side exhaust manifold fits nicely in our g bodies

Also another problem I found is that the holley pan is too thin the front to accept a turbo drain. I ended up getting a timing cover with a 10an bung welded on

added a 90 and 45 degree fittings to make something that will clear the trucks lower ac compressor and put the drain near the turbo. Did require some cutting of the oem ac bracket for the clearance.

Are you aware that you have to rotate the turbo housing? In the one photo the drain is up and and the supply is down.

Yeah I'm just mocking it up at the moment. Feed up and drain down.

I think the fun is a long way down the street unless you mean work=fun then I will be having a ton of that
That's the fun of it. Drives are short distances usually, makes you cherish the time it took to get there ;)

True true. Months of work for a 1/2 mile test drive. Definitely Deen there before with my nova.
