Some cutting is required for these dual pod speakers. Also added some sound deadening material. Interesting is I need to mount 2 cross overs in each door and there is not much space for them without interfering with the window

Here is the final product installed on the passenger door. Ended up running the crossovers under my center console.

That's why I ended up putting rings around my speakers to push them out from interfering with the window

That's makes sense neat idea, my car had the concert system so I already had a cut out in my door factory. I just had to open it up some more and it gave me space to add some more sound deadening. I would have liked to not had to cut but it worked out.

I'm curious to see how the tweeters sound to you, I would think at that angle they put straight to the roof. Mine don't look pretty but fit the bill to point towards my ears

Got some work done in the back of the car, sound deaded around the rear speakers, had to cut pockets for the rear speakers, headliner, seat belts and finally bolted the rear seats in

Started working on the trunk today. Installed some sound deadener and mocked up an amp rack.

Getting the rear interior back together. Needs a good cleaning but it's getting there.
