Had the engine painted period correct robins egg blue.... per paint code.... the engine is still in the build bag
 
Edel brock performer rpm endurashine intake..... because alot of my exhaust is brand new... dual glass packs... rear exhaust was ran correctly..... I'm probably going to try to keep it..... idk thoughts?

I like the performer rpm and I hope to replace my old school performer with one sometime soon. Just not sure about hood clearance though, it's pretty tight as it is. I might have to remove the hood pad. What are the cam specs.
 
What size pipe is that? Will the RPM fit under the stock hood?

I'll have to check the build sheet, I went one size smaller than the ram air 400 camshaft as not to ruin the idle.... I'll get back to you....
 
I just got my new cam in today from Butler and I am picking up some 6x-4's tomorrow. I think the next few weeks are going to be busy.

I've heard of shaving down the heads and manifold to get more compression on the 400...
