Might get criticized for putting factory parts back in but at least I have a car that I can drive until it snows. Oh wait. Well I can stare at in the garage.

Also filled it up with antifreeze, woop.

I could never convince myself to wrap the car but I stumbled on this older advertisement and got a temporary "what if"

The AC spark plugs car without the decals and numbers could actually look decent too.

And random cutlass picture I thought was cool

I feel like it would get way more attention and likes if it was done as Petty's STP car, even though I hated that paint scheme

I am back to kinda daily-ing the car. Splashed gas back in and put the non e85 tune back in

Planning for winter upgrades

Radio (86 cutlass brougham factory eq) I have in the car has had the screen out for years, the radio officially stopped working today. Sigh. I need to find a place to rebuild it.

Wheels- I am dumping the c5 wheels and going with 245/45/17's all around and the year one pontiac ralleys for street use and buying a set of 15x8's or 15x10's for the rear. I would like 275/40's for the rear but id like to be able to rotate tires and I had the larger tires on the rear of my firebird and im not a fan for a street car for the miles I plan to put on it.

And I need to pull the engine and do a pan swap to the 302-2 pan because even though I have put probably 5k+ miles on the stock pickup one, it scares me.

AC pump for sure since I failed on doing it last winter

And for good measure can't forget narrowing the rear axle and doing the better axles. TBD what I do there but I am keeping the 8.6.

If I was going nascar wrap I would go chrome bassett 5 spoke.

But I can't live with my self to drive a "NASCAR" even though it would be cool. It's too flashy and if it was a hardcore track car sure, but this car isn't that intense.

Well I am upgrading.

I moved 7hrs away from home after graduation for work and have been sharing a house with a coworker since. He bought a place and I am moving in to split the cost a bit. New place has an insulated/heated 2 stall out back so I am moving my model building workshop from my basement into one stall of the new shop and doing car stuff on the other half.

It's going to be a mess to get stuff organized for the next month or two but should be a lot nicer place to work.

A good wrap is like $3K, unless you were planning on having a go at it yourself.
Honestly, you'd be better off spending that money at Maaco...
Sweet little garage, I wish mine was heated so bad!!!
Those 17" Rallyes are gonna look rad
