Dayum player!!! U doing alot, I wish I was into all that wiring sh*t!! I hate wires, its so time consuming!!!

U doing big things..keep up the good work, just dont drive behind me one day, dont want to get blinded and crash my elko....lmao

LOL! The lights are aimed nicely. No blindin peeps in front of me or oncoming traffic. These kits are truely "plug and play". Nothing hard about it at all. There's all kinds of how to vids on youtube on installing em. I just watched a few and did my thing...Thanks for checkin back

Aw damn!! Man I'm tryin to get on yall level. Imma newbie. LOL! I do more tearing up stuff than anything. LOL! Preciate the luv. Just got back from Harbor Freight. Picked up some wire loom and zip ties and stuff for this weekends projects. Im hittin the paint spot up in the morning for some SEM black and Blue mist for the Elco and SS interior. Summer is comin quick! Its Feb already!!! Wont be a "show" setup, but for a homegrown jobber things will look spiffy(I hope! LOL) I should have the hid projects done on both rides by Sunday. If you get tired of the super bowl on Sunday, you should swing by and check some of the projects out. Stay tuned....

Back on the Elco. Tryin to work on 2 cars at the same time is a killer. I said I'd never do it again after my VW build, but here I go again!! LOL Actually, I just got some goodies. The new Dakota Digi gauge syste. This new setup is much improved over the older system in my SS. Solid state sending units for a more accurate reading and they stepped the connections up. All water proof connections and all loomed up this time. I wanna install em right now! LOL But imma wait till the new 350 install happens in a few months. Ive started to modify the gauge cluster bezel like I did on the SS so the panel can sit flush behind the gauge plate...I think I have the surrounding bezel housing around here somewhere and I can "Cut, chop and rebuild" it and paint it the SEM blue I want. Makes it easier and the car isnt down while I do all the modding. Just swap and go...

They supply 2 panels. The blue panel is installed on the gauge board. Simple swap if you prefer teal. You could easily have custom colors done to match your setup. Im gonna drill two small holes for the stock turn sig location. Then install to small led/resistors and run inline with the turn sigs. The panel doesnt use the stock turn sig location. They are just above the speedo and the idicators are small as hell

Started cutting and trimming. Doing the same thing I did on my SS setup. I want the panel to sit flush and no light coming thru the backing..

Headed out to the "shop" to mess with the high beam hid setup on the ol girl. The SS is chillin waitin for me to get off my lazy butt and spray the interior parts and finish up the other lil looong over due projects. 😳

Thanks for swingin thru and checkin it out. Cant wait to install em. This new setup is alot cleaner as far as the wiring goes over my setup in my SS. Settin it all up shouldnt be a pita. I have the SS as an example. The site did a Malibu wagon and they have detailed photos. Looks easy. Again fam, thanks for checkin back....

YES IT DID!! LOL! Man I finally peeled off the dead nail. Pretty bad. Its all beat up lookin now. But thats all part of the wrenchin life. Imma wait to install the gauges. When the new 350 comes along, I'll drop em in then. But Im working on the bezel and stuff like I did on my SS Digi install. I'll have em in before the Summer G Body run

Todays project was mocking up the 5th iroc wheel in the trucks bed. Imma weld a 14" x drilled rotor and chrome the whole assy out. SHould workout sweet.. I'll need to have 2 different sets of holes in the bed floor. I'm runnin 4's for the show season and will need to move that plate up a lil so it clears the back. The final setup will have a front spindle and rotor setup with a Brembo caliper and all. I want the wheel to spin at the shows. Easy to do. I'll get that crackin later. I just need something for when I put my 22's back on..

I used some pieces of wood to get the angle and height down..

Should workout cool. Imma draw a lil somthin up and see if I can pull a pin to change the angle of the wheel or somethin. There I go again! LOL

Well, off to work I go. This happens everyday. I wanna work on the car right now but cant. Gotta change it around.
