87 El Camino Daily Driver/Weekend Cruiser

Thanks fellas. All that lil stuff is what takes up all my time. Gettin the heat wrap done and power wires ran was a pita! Lol but I'm glad I took my time. Everything looks good so far. Now that im done with the lil stuff, I'll put my other ball milled covers on
and finish the oil cooler lines. Trans lines will be cut down and an fittings hooked up. I'm waiting for my relays to come so I can run the power wire for the trans cooler fan and led's. Picked up a Weller soldering iron kit and did some soldering on the tach and power wire clip for the dizzy. Shrink wrapped it. Looks good. The soldered joints came out decent for a newb. I won't be able to run the hoses for the oil cooler cuz the shop is closed on sAturday. I gotta cut em to size and then get the ends crimped on. I'll remove the sandwich plate adapter and spin on the oil filter. Fill all the fluids-oil, trans and some coolant and fire her up... Can't wait... 😀

AWWWWWWWWWWWW MAN so i was in morreno valley today and i been tryin to catch up wit brother harris last few days... so today i stopped by and i must say THE BCT is SEXY and you kno it... the detail warren puttin into the car is beyond what most ppl wud do for a simple "MOTOR SWAP".. i told him to get it back on the road cuz he has all these ideas he wants to do to it but its bout time to put his ideas out on the streets and not on youtube so ppl can do it and try and get credit for something he came up with!! but yea the elco is lookin nice !!

Mel, we can give him all the credit in the World. It still wont change the fact that he was not the 1st out in the street with it even though he was the first to do it. See I already experienced having 20 people looking at my car all saying wow cse of the delete plate and spectre set up. I'm like yeah I got the idea from Warren and people dont care who you got it from, all they know if you had it out first in the street and shows. I felt like I took that from him. Not a good feeling. I wanna see 20-50 people look at BCT the first time out and say DAMN. I'm doing that to mine and let them copy all they want. At least he came out first. I want that for Warren and I know he wants it too. It's so gratifying to see that your ideas move people. I'm just a fan of Warren and want him out there with us.

when you reach a certain point, that credit for "doing it first", "coming out first with it" etc. doesnt matter. I dont really care about all that, id rather push the idea out there and let someone else rock with it. the fact that they got credit and gave it to me means more to me than to "be the first with it, etc".
not down talking anyone, those who know me, know im not like that... just my opinion. great minds think alike, and there is a chance you wont be the first anyway, but if you come up with something and throw it out there so others benefit from it, thats the type of selfless act that should get the praise.
ive had one of the badass custom painted "big wheeled" new camaros to hit the streets, and no one had a clue it was mine, now someone else is enjoying it. i have a pretty nicely done harley also (and have had it for years) and other people bite off it all the time, from the music, style etc., people still dont know who did what first... both supposed to be in magazines, i declined! I just do things for me nowadays and im pretty sure Warren feels similar.
