A perfect body and paint does not make a daily driver perform it's intended purpose any better...:friday:
Quoted for truth! The Pig looks GREAT at 80mph on the highway; just don't get too close because the ugly will reach out and smack ya!

This is the first thread in full that I've read since joining this group a couple years ago and I must say I am looking forward to more. You and I shared the same dream, I wanted a t-top console GP as well and I drove 5hrs from Detroit to Chicago to get it.

I have some time under my belt as a body man as I took classes for auto body and was a metal finisher at general motors and I can confirm that your body work is far from mediocre. Keep the good work!

haven't done much to the chief as of late, I just wanted to update the thread before it got locked.....

I did buy into the exhaust deal that alot of us jumped on, I did have a few issues that popped up, and needless to say, I haven't gotten it completely finished off yet... I did have to relocate the electric fuel pump, and ended up using my back-up pump due to placement and sizing issue...

It seems that when this baby gets finished up, it’s going to be a force to be reckoned with! I am patiently waiting, lol, as my GP remains totally stock. 👍🇺🇸

Looking good Darin!
I’m totally envious of your lift...
😁

D,
technically, it's not my lift... since I don't have a garage, I rent a space with the local scca group. I knew alot of them already from my parts store days, so when a spot opened up, I was happy to jump at the chance. the lift use is an added bonus, but I have to be able to get it off when I'm done for the day.... kinda neat t look around the shop, see some of the race equipped mg's, mazda rx7's and miata's, a class 3 car (looks like a mini formula car), and my big american beaters!

sundancer,

appreciate it!
I'm not going for alot of flash or dazzle with him, as I like him with a little of his patina. I don't want to make a complete rod out of him, but he's one I don't mind going a little crazy with him... the regal will be the Frankenstein, and the cutty will be the one going completely stock, so Chief will be a nice mix!

More updates! Looks good Darin. Anything new with your Regal?

Joe,
