Hey guys i picked up a 9 inch today from a yard for $100 it was removed from a 72 torino i have pics and if i can post them i will. the axle has open carrier, and 3.00 gears, 28 spline axles, good breaks, and measures 63.5 inches flange to flange. so it will need to be narroed and have the g body brackets welded on. the good news is the short axle is the correct length for the longside after it is shortned and the long axle can be cul the full 5 inches the housing needs to be shortned.I am re useing the brakes and hope to have this installed for less than $500 with new gears. I will keep you posted
moser $65 one axle cut and respline
new axle bearings and seals $50
strange $65 new housing ends
new gears $190
and my time price less!
