Did some more sound deadening, found out they had already put some on the roof which I guess is good

I did the same with the Monte and honestly I didn't hear a huge difference from when I took it racecar mode to the Pizza Power Tour but I figure it's worth a shotDriving down a gravel road it makes a huge difference. The wagon is silent. The Monte sounds like a tin can.

I did the floor & roof of my CC dually (big block; 1.75" full length car headers; dual 3" head pipes w/H pipe into 3" In/Out dual turbo style mufflers reduced to dual 2.5" tail pipes) w/the vibration absorbing mats. That's a good start, but adding a closed-cell foam layer & Mass Loaded Vinyl layer over those vibration deadening mats damn near sound-proofed it it's so quiet inside.I did the same with the Monte and honestly I didn't hear a huge difference from when I took it racecar mode to the Pizza Power Tour but I figure it's worth a shot
Now that I think back I believe I already had the Monte sound deadened before taking it racecar out and about. Thanks for the heads up I may try this stuff since I believe the 15's will cause havoc to the panelsI did the floor & roof of my CC dually (big block; 1.75" full length car headers; dual 3" head pipes w/H pipe into 3" In/Out dual turbo style mufflers reduced to dual 2.5" tail pipes) w/the vibration absorbing mats. That's where I got my stuff. It was my first time using a more aggressive 'insulation' approach so I wasn't sure if it was worth the additional coin (the stuff wasn't cheap). Now that I think back I believe I already had the Monte sound deadened before taking it racecar out and about.
