Can you use your stock lug nuts with this swap or do you need to get different ones ? If you need to get different ones what size do you need to get ? I’m doing this as soon as I get the peseta and would like to know so I can get them before I start the swap so I don’t have to run to get more parts in the middle of the swap

Depends on the year of your car. If it's a 78-80 ( A Body ) you should have 7/16x20 SAE lug nuts. If your car is an 81-88, then you should have M12x1.5 Metric lug nuts, which are the same as the Blazer lug nuts. Someone will correct me real quick if I'm wrong.
BTW.. I have what you need in the For Sale section.

I have a 79’ Malibu. Have all parts ordered or in my possession already just curious about the lug nuts so I can have what’s needed when I get all the parts and do the swap

Brakes are done on my TR. Need to bleed them some more. They look spectacular compared to the stock single piston brakes.

Bled the brakes on all 4 corners. But it looks like I'll need to change out the iron proportioning valve over to brass. The brakes are not ideal yet.

Agreed!
The 4 wheel drive blazer for which the sealed hubs have also been an OEM application has a higher curb weight than the 87 G-body.
Although I don't always agree with GM engineers, this is one topic where there would be zero arguments.

For people worrying about bearing/hub assy cost and reliability, I have a '87 Corvette with over 100K miles and 32 years and they are still good. Also, look at price of replacement units. Not much more than bearings and seals.

This is an excellent approach, with all new parts. I didn't include the Master Cylinder or proportioning valve as I had previously changed them. I also had new braided stainless lines.

Do it once and forget.

They are identical other than the material they are made out of. Either you have air, or more than likely you need to change the master cylinder to one with a larger bore like mentioned else where in this thread.
