Hi,
This is Daniel with the '84 Caprice, 305.
If you've seen my other recent posts about the car's rough, slow idle, various members have
pretty much narrowed down the cause to being the Quad and/or a vacuum leak (or several),
with the outside possibility of the issue being the distributor.
I live in the Los Angeles suburb, Van Nuys. Does anyone know of a shop in my area with
a mechanic who knows how to rebuild them AND tune them properly?
Thank you!

I'm betting- Likely not. People that know their way around E-jets are far and few between. Good luck, though. If you do find "a good E-jet guy", hold on to him as long as you have your car at least.

There was Sean Murphy Induction in Long Beach, Ca but it looks he closed down this past spring.

If you can part with your carb for a bit you may want to send a request to 78delta88 here on the forum, as he does exactly what you're looking for. I have a beautiful Quad from him that I ran momentarily but other issues have prevented permanent installation so far.
