A sad day indeed!

Man that does suck.....If the volvo pulled out in front of you, it should be their fault...But either way if your insurance company tells you it's totaled, you can buy her back...I wouldn't lose hope in that ride, it still looks like it can be fixed...sorry about your loss, but don't let that kick you in the nuts and keep you down. Bounce back and get the ride fixed!!!

It looks like, if that brace wasn't in place, the fender would have been just fine

It sucks to see a nice GBody wrecked. Hopefully you can get it all fixed up 8)

I'm not down, it's my summer daily driver, I've got two malibu coupes, two b body wagons I'm not hurting for wheels, and yes it was 100% the volvo's fault so I'm not worried there, just hope the insurance makes me a decent offer, it was appraised at 13500 but I doubt they will cough up anything close to that.

good that you got it appraised, the insurance company will pay for the repairs or maybe offer you the estimate - 10%

the fender was damaged up front so it would have to be changed anyway....that brace saved the door and the fender would have been junk at the back where it drove into the door without the brace

It is sad to see such a nice clean car get crunched. Hopefully the frame didn't suffer too badly. Sheet metal can be replaced.
The right side door still looks pretty decent with a little hammer and dolly work on the door edge. Saying that it sucks, is an understatement. I hope the out come is good. Good luck with the settlement and getting the car back in shape...if feasible.

OUCH! But that sure looks fixable. The glass didn't even break so I'm thinking it's all sheetmetal damage. Get as much as you can out of the Insurance crooks and strip it down to the frame. That is definitely worth saving.

does anyone know if the hood and fender from a lemans is the same. There is a complete lemans in a yard I deal with and I get good prices from them
