I have had three cultasses and taken both the air pump and a/c compressor out of them, after so i ran into some problems, has anyone tried to put an alternator where the a/c compressor is,because i had noticed that when and after you take the a/c compressor and air pump out of the car you will start to hear squeals because the p/s pump and alternator are pulling to one side of the engine causing the water pump pulley to stretch causing squeals.is there a way around the squeals or do i have to keep the a/c compressor in there forever.I was wondering that if you put a monte carlo alternator bracket and alternator where the a/c compressor sits will it work fine afterwards WITH NO SQUEALS

You'll need to find an alternator bracket for an Olds without a/c, as that will move it over to the passenger side. You may end up having to lengthen your wires from the battery to the alternator in the process... I had to.
