I actually like the US Mag version better because of it being more open, but then again I am not purist when it comes to keeping things factory looking.

I've had a few people ask about the US MAG wheels with C5 Brakes. Here is where I am at:

To Recap- the front wheels are 18x8 with 4.5 backspacing and 1mm offset

I printed out the C5/C6 template on the Kore 3 website and took some pictures. The total distance across the inside of the wheel is 16 inches, so the 12.8" rotors and calipers should fit fine (template shows 7.45 for the halfway point, so under 15" total). The protrusion of the caliper looks really close, but there is sufficient room. I will know for sure once I get everything, but at least this gives an idea. The only concern I see is at the point where the caliper gets close to the hub. The template has something there, but it's not the caliper. Here are the pics, hope it helps:

***EDIT***
It just occurred to me what that little nub by the hub of the wheel is - the pad abutment bracket. It may clear just fine, but if not, it looks like it should still work if I clearance just a small amount - maybe 1/16

It does look close... does the caliper face come close to the spokes? Thank you again!

I rolled the rear quarters to get some extra space, with a just slightly shortened Ford 9, 5.25 backspace on the rear 18x9: I'm going to attempt a 285/40/18

For the front, 245/40/18

Looks like a nice piece for the money. I wish they had these in an olds ss2/ss3 style wheel
