I know we have postings on repairing dash pads but I came across this company just trying to see what else there is out on the innerwebs on repairing a cracked dash. It was a interesting video with them repairing a dash & looks like an option.
Seems like a lot of work to get a dash thats not even close to an original look. Everyone has their own opinion about what looks right though. Personally I'd just keep hunting for a crack free dash or save the money and get a reproduction.
It's so odd to me that finding a crack free dash is hard. I see them fairly consistently around here. Usually dark blue or burgundy, but they can be dyed or painted any color you want of course.

I wish I could find repro cutlass dash. Fortunately I’m not going for a restored look so I plan to flock my dash. There is also a company that repairs and vacuum forms a layer over them it’s pretty cool and looks great. I have seen a couple Gbody dashes done on their IG. I haven’t reached out for a quote but I imagine it’s not budget friendly.

Except that if you live south of Kansas, there ARE no crack-free originals, and to date I haven't seen a repro of the stock Chevrolet dash come to fruition. Been pretty quiet over at OPGI about them, other than "coming soon" for something like 3 years now.

Finding crack free original dashes are certainly difficult enough, and nearly impossible south of the Mason-Dixon line. Your chances of finding good crack free examples are certainly better the further north you go. Even then, it's like hitting the lottery. As these cars become more extinct in the junkyards, it becomes a treasure hunt.
