I thought pre-out was an amped spot for speakers in head unit?? Mine has pre-out spots...sorry if I miss interpreted. check out the link so you can see what I'm working with

So far my upgrade will consist of new 2-channel amplifier for two 10" subs, 4-channel for interiors, new 6x9 rear speakers with adapters and 3.5" front speakers

I actually have a brand new set of front speakers a friend gave me but I never put in...They are Kicker DS35's
http://www.kicker.com/ds_series

So tell me what kind of recommendations you have for me

I would probably go for the 4 ohm versions, because they give you better choices for amplifiers. Lower ohm stable amps usually cost more. With the 4 ohm speakers you can get away with a 4 ohm stable amp with series vc and parallel subs. With the 2 ohm you will need a 2 ohm stable amp with series vc and parallel subs. The head unit looks decent. Pioneer and Sony make good head units for interior speakers without amps. Try the head unit first by itself. You might like the sound of it without an external amp. And the 3 1/2s look decent. Usually can't go wrong with Kicker, that's my sub of choice. 😀

Peak power is what the sub is capable of taking at an instant time, not for the entire time. Like a hard bass hit of a drum within a song. Nominal wattage is what the sub is comfortable at for the entirety of usage. If a sub is rated at 200w rms and 800w peak I try to stay around 250w-350w on my amp. If its a Kicker sub thats rms around 800w I try to stay around 800w-900w on my Kicker amp.

nominal rating on my subs are 350watts with max 1000watts, my amp is 400watts 3-channel. output power as states:
output power 4 ohm 50w x2 + 100W x 1
@14.4 VDC 4 ohm 150W x1 + 150W x1

so what I have gathered is my subs would like say 350-400watts all the time, but are only getting 150watts at the moment correct??

Correct. If the subs are rated at 4 ohms.

Okay, let me ask you guys this: Can you recommend a good amp for me using these two 10" subs?

Here is any info I know about my 2 10" subs:
1000 watt max
350 watt nominal
frequency 18Hz-600Hz
Sensitivity 87dB
4 ohm Rating
4-Layer, Long Voice Coil

do u know if ur subs a are dual voice coil (dvc) if so u cant get a good amp that does around 800 watts rms at 1 ohm then u wire the subs in parallel and you will be good

have no idea, all it says in specs about voice coil is 4-layer, long voice coil, copper voice coil wire, and phenol resin coated glass cloth voice coil bobbin
