Maybe it's just me, but if I were starting to shop around for a car to take to college, I'd be more interested in a car with a back seat so my friends could come along too...

And if you wanna have some fun with it while you're at it, drifting (or attempting to  ) with a '94-'96 9C1 Caprice would be pretty fun, and would sure get some attention! Not to mention they're a lot cheaper to buy, and parts are affordable and more than abundant...

On the z32 going from na to tt isn't cheap its like 4 grand to do it.Its best to buy a turbo one over the na.I wouldn't buy a car that's been drifted its been drove hard and beat on.The 91 240sx i had was 500 bucks it needed a engine.I put a rb25det in it and if i had to do it over i would use a ls1 its cheaper in the long run.

been watching the 300zx's on ebay, they are going for 5-6, ang g35s are still 12,000
One word: Craigslist. E-Bay tends to be the top of the market on some things like cars while Craigslist is where ordinary schmucks go to get rid of things, sometimes things they fail to know the value of.

I have owned alot of imports, I as well began my car obsession with them, and can say from experience they are good cars, not as fast out of the box as something with more muscle, but fun nonetheless.

I had an 85 300zx n/a. It was fun, would have been awesome with a turbo. It was a little hard to work on because of limited room in the engine compartment, but you learn alot. I would get another if It was a good condition turbo 5spd.

I have owned a 1992 celica gt, and while it wasn't anything like driving an alltrac (I have) they are very solid cars and last forever, but good luck finding one with no rust. Again, I would get one for sure.

240sx are badass! Honestly, I would leave the ka24 4cyl in it and get a DOHC head, metal head gasket, arp studs, maybe pistons and rods and boost the hell out of it. Those engines love it.

Good luck
