I think calling it a hellcat based driveline is a lie when it doesn't have a blower. It's just a Gen 3 Hemi swapped G body with a turbo.

Is there a lot of time and money in the car? Yup. Is that going to be an easy thing to own? Nope. Buying someone's unfinished project is tough when it's known (LS in a Fox mustang for example), but a G3 Hemi in a G body with a th400? Yikes,
It originally had the blower. Then he went all out for horsepower.

At 1k HP its not really a safe street car anymore IMO. Probably not a popular opinion here but I think ultra high HP numbers like 1k are not safe for street driving like that 1.3k HP Mercury Comet that crashed a couple of years ago. Much of the safety gear mandated by racing bodies are not DOT approved for street driving for a reason. Roll cages are dangerious on the street and many areas ban them on street cars along with 5 point racing harnesses and helmets.

This is basically a video of what not to do, the owner of the Mercury had a sticking throttle and been riding his brakes for who knows how long before this accident which has nothing to do with how much power the car makes.
These guys also both neglected to put on their safety harness which would have at least stopped your face from hitting the dash.

The power multiplies their negelance. That guy built a race car and expected he could drive it like a hotrod. Granted at any power level a sticking throttle is dangerous but at such highbpower levels there is zero margin of error. Sometimes people seem to forget there is a difference between a hotrod and a racecar.

Yeah, too bad he's in purgatory. Maybe he'll get his wings back. Maybe.

Car has NJ tags.... should be quiet about selling this car so the state doesn't force it to scrap

That article got a few legal details wrong. To keep it short its illegal to tamper or disable emissions in all 50 states under Federal as well as each state having additional laws. Moreover, it is also illegal under Federal law in all 50 states to operate a tampered vehicle on public roads or sell it in a tampered condition.

He was also banned from MCSS.com years ago tor trolling, back when it used to be a decent forum which really was a long time ago.
