Assault / home defense shotguns

Here in Canada , we are not allowed to own defensive weapons
My plan is to invite the perpetrator to sit with me and discuss his goals , and explain the impact we would would have on each other’s lives .maybe fix him a sandwich 🤣
Failing that I suppose I could unlock one of my dedicated target firearms as a very last resort
To answer your question though I would get an 870 with a shorter barrel and extended mag . 6 rounds of 12 should do it unless your taking on the black widows with Clint and granny

I had an 8 3/8" raging bull. HIGHLY recommend if you like to make big holes in stuff and haven't fallen for the 460 or 500 S&W nonsense.
With the Judge being a 5 shot revolver that shoots .45 Colt and .410 shells, I load it with two .410 home defense shells followed by three FMJ .45 Colts.

How did I miss this thread..... oh boy.

First off, anything you can not shoulder and control is worthless, the capability to get a follow-up shot is worth more than getting the first shot off. I'll let anyone try to prove me wrong on that one, been in enough sh*t to know that aspect. Not killing paper either.

Short and maneuverable is key. If you have some long spear of a gun I will disarm you and beat you with it.

Get what you are comfortable with and train with it, learn it, use it, understand it, sleep with it and maybe even fck it. Get what you trust your life with. I used to teach some combat arms courses and do three gun, as well as ran ops in some sh*t I can't talk about. Semi-auto is very nice for breaching doors just leaving that tid bit there. Clears a room fast too.

Benelli M4 is good, the older M1 Inertia system is cleaner and faster. Ran them side by side, I'll take the M1. My first choice is a pistol because I am good with one, if I have to back up to a shotgun I'm in some sh*t and some people are going to have a bad day.

Some pics of my hardware. Enjoy.
