Jash,
I'll try to get my parts out to get you some pics. The pic you posted shows darker door panels. Maybe it's just the lighting. Mine are the same red as the seats and dash in your pic. As for the bumpers, there was a model of the Century specifically labeled "Sport Coupe". It had the upgraded suspension, sport steering wheel, Polycast Turbine wheels, buckets and console, painted aluminum bumpers (which were three piece with bolted-on end caps) and the two-tone paint scheme in either red/silver or blue/silver. I didn't keep the bumpers, as they were starting to corrode from behind.

They are a sharp looking car. First time I see one.
Its very weird to see a right side drive.

Hey Bill,
My car is blue/silver but is badged Luxus. It has the 3 piece painted bumpers with the bolted on end caps. My door trims are burnt by the sun - it gets pretty hot here - but are actually burgundy.
Many Thanks,
Jeff

Very nice!

Ah, they were more common when I was younger, but by the time I showed any interest in these, they were too rare too find...

Wow!
I love seeing the G-bodies that turn up here from around the world... this is definitely the only RHD I've ever seen!
Door seals and such are the same as a regular coupe.

Looking forward to seeing this one come together!

Wow! You almost never see these here, and I've never seen one with right-hand drive. That's an awesome find. Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

jetsetw31 - So Regal mirrors will work too?
billyjack - I'd be interested in the door panels and the wheel if you want to part with them? And do you have any more pictures of yours? You mentioned aluminum bumpers on another post?
ssn696 - I've attached a pic. I haven't been right through it yet but it looks as though they have used a rod under the dash to control the brakes as the MC and booster are in the original position. Looks like they have just welded the steering box on the chassis on the other side from where it normally is. They have cut and shut the dash and bogged (body filler) it up.

Its pretty bunky at the moment, but it will be flash.
Jeff
Sorry, late coming to this thread.
First of all, hello & welcome from Toronto, Canada.
Love your lingo- "it's pretty bunky now, but it will be flash" Classic!
These cars are pretty interchangeable with most other G's, in fact most late 70's, early 80's GM.
Please post lots of pix of RHD conversion- never seen one before, and update your progress with pix.
Thanks!
Rod

Welcome and that is a nice G body you have. GM built some RH cars to export to Australia starting back in the 60's. Some of them were kit cars that were assembled by Holden. My daughter lives in Melbourne and she got nailed for 3 kilometers over (5 mph) and her fine was something like $184. I could not afford to live there....
