Howdy,
I have an 83 olds 98 regency Brougham with the factory cassette player (I believe it's the top of the line model). It plays cassettes just fine but I've recently purchased a Bluetooth cassette which I pair to my phone do I can broadcast my phones music to the cassette and play the music over the cars speakers. Pretty cool, unfortunately after a few minutes of playing (perhaps after the cassette heats up) it starts to trigger this frenzy of auto-reversing back and forth. The manufacturer of the cassette has no idea what's going on, and since this only happens on this Bluetooth cassette and not "regular" cassettes I'm sure it has something to do with the cassette, not the player. I'm hoping to understand what triggers auto reverse, is it sensing that one cassette wheel is not turning? Ideas on why it would only do this after 10 minutes of playing but not before (heat?)
Help!
Steven
