auto shifter question

Hello all so i need to get my shifter situation fixed so i can move my car so let me explain. i have a 1987 cutlass which has a 4 speed auto shifter now i know this is meant for a 200r4 but i dont have it. i have a th350. could i use the 4 speed shifter with the 3 speed if so what would i need to use it? i have a th350 shifter cable. what bracket would i need on the trans pan

do you have the linkage installed? If you do you can shift the transmission by turning the lower part of your column where the column shifter would be by hand
