I really need some help on console location for brackets but most importantly, the shifter cable hole. I feel that the hole in trans hump needs to be spot on for the cable. If it's off a little, the cable would bind because it's so stiff. I have a thread asking about some pics and a measurement. Cutlass and Regal are the same so please throw me a bone here

Glad to see you back at it, thought we’d lost you for awhile! There was a decent looking 79 regal turbo coupe on market place a few weeks ago, made me think about if you still had yours. If I had the room, I would’ve picked it up, but just dragged home a wagon that you need a tetanus shot to just look at....

And if you haven’t seen it yet, gp403 started a square body forum....
