Here is a listing of all head castings. Even though they may be listed as closed and open chamber heads, there were variations in chamber size. The smallest closed chamber heads were like 98cc and the largest closed chamber heads were about 108. Then they got into semi open that were about 113 and then true open chamber heads were 118-119.

Ok guys new question?? And I just want an educated guess 206 heads on my basically stock bottom end with the stock dished pistons what will my approximate compression ratio be? Also with that set up a performer intake and comp cams Xtreme Energy 11-238-3 what is your best guess on horsepower and torque? I know it's much more technical than that but a guess would be cool thanks again guys

The 396 used all the same heads the years the 206 's were used

compression ratios varied from 8.5 to 11

They only differences were pistons cam and carbs

I would be most headers will work with all the room on a square body.
